Every Church that is Charismatic or Pentecostal has roots that stem from The Azusa Street Revival! The story of Azasa Street Revival reveal the rich spiritual legacy we have with our Living God, who we really are, why we pray like we pray and why we worship like we worship!

The man named WILLIAM J SEYMOUOR, his life from a tragedy to triump to obscurity…was truly amazing and inspiring. It is a life testimony of ordinary people called by God to do extraordinary things!

The prayer revival conference in SIBKL is truly an amazing encounter and revelation. Many man and women has walk in the way of the Lord, gave their life to pray and seek God. It is never a convenient choice yet it is worth while than anything we do of the world. Those who experience God in the revival, with such intensity…like a bulldog who bite and never let go would never forget the touch of the hand of God. The experience would keep us in line, in faith with praise always. It is so awesome find out more about what God has done in the past, as we think about what had happen to our current world in our generation…the time is near.

We live in the “Kairos” moment…and surely many is to come very quickly. As the children of God, we got prepare our mind, our body and our spiritman ready for time as this…

God’s Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some
expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:

“If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us.”

God brews the coffee, not the cups………. Enjoy your coffee!

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

The only survivor of a shipwreck washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stung with grief and anger. “God, how could you do this to me!” he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know I was here?” asked the weary man of his rescuers. “We saw your smoke signal,” they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn’t lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering.

Remember next time your little hut is burning to the ground- – it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.

And, there’s what we do filling our stomach with food of joy and company of great friends. A glimpse of what we do…

This is a special Chinese New Year to me…

1. I went back to my parent’s house, instead JP parent’s house
2. It was very rainy at the Southern part of Malaysia at this season of the year
3. The water bring float to many area – including my family house
4. After arriving hometown for 12 hours, I brought my family back to my own home 12am midnight
5. We lifted everything 3ft above the ground with every possible things we have
6. We had steamboat reunion dinner 2 days before the new year eve, on a small coffee table
7. Came with me total of 3 families, including 1 handicap elderly, 2 young child
8. We left our brother at home to keep an eye of the float situation
9. My first reunion with my family at my own home, without my beloved brother
10. The water reached the floor step, and left
11. We return to my family house on 1st day of CNY
12. 1st day of CNY is all about moving, shifting and overhall spring cleaning

Then…..I spend my remaining day resting, not going anywhere. I couldn’t afford more drama. ^_~

I would like to appreciate to all who…

1. Sending me bed, blankets and pillow at 2am
2. Helping my family to move things till late
3. Keeping me and my family in prayer all the time
4. Giving me care and encouragement through out

I truly thank God for all my brother and sister in Christ from the very bottom of my heart. I praise the Lord God for such divine opportunity to be friend with them, to know them and serving together.

I found this sharing in my old abandon blog. It came at the right season for me…a season I ONLY have Him ALONE to rely on!

It is this stage of life, I need to remind myself to trust HIM, have FAITH, and COMMIT my life to Him every morning, and again keeping Him very very close to heart so I won’t go astray and start worrying in vain.

1. QUIT WORRYING: Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST: Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can’t help you until you turn it over to Me. And although My to-do-list is long, I am after all… God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you nevereven realize.

3. TRUST ME: Once you’ve given your burdens to Me,quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials.Problems with the kids? Put them on My list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE: Don’t wake up one morning and say, “Well, I’m feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here.” Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It’s simple. You gave Me your burdens and I’m taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don’t you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME: I want you to forget a lot of things.Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I’m in control. But there’s one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don’tforget to talk to Me – OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH: I see a lot of things from up here that you can’t see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I’m doing. Trust Me; you wouldn’t want the view from My eyes.I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much h bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. SHARE: You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven’t heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT: I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences.You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, rush.

9. BE KIND: Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF: As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by me for one reason only — to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Don’t ever forget……

Merry Christmas 2010!

This may sound out of the world for all the non-believer, like a person spend their life time in the dessert find it hard to believe water can actually fall from the sky. Many choose not to believe because they don’t see it. Hence, it does not exist. However, many times…truth will only be reveal when you willingly seek, and you will surely find it.

This will answer many questions typical non-believer will have in their mind. It is very true isn’t it? If we are not given free will to choose between good and evil, there isn’t a big deal about how good we are – the real value of what is good and what is evil. God wasn’t a control freak. He may be sad if you choose otherwise, but at the end of the day we have no one to blame but ourself.

This is and will still be a forever debatable topic till the end of our life. The thing is, many things was created before Scientist ever discover it. With a simple mind and simple theory, I will just conclude that GOD created things, and was reveal to human in His time. So, when human discover a new technology, it simply means God gave us a revelation. However, the same revelation can be use to do good or evil. So, you should have the answer for many of your follow up questions. ^_~

It is time for Christmas again…my fav. season of the year! YEAH~~

I personally believe, 2010 Christmas will be far more exciting since everything in 2010 goes the extreme way unapologetically. ^_~

As usual, I am preparing invitation card for Christmas celebration and designing card is always very personal to me. It usually reflecting what I felt, what I experience and it must contain the message I intent to share with others. So, here you see 3 cards under a big theme “Being the hope & joy of my life” to be send out to friends according to their flavor.

Our world today is getting colder, cruel, materialistic and realistic – everywhere peoples are complaining and cursing as the newspaper telling only partial truth. People stop being nice to one another due fear of being exploit. Human becoming selfish – disaster and tragedy happens in your life has nothing to do with me so long it doesn’t happened in my front yard. The disappointment is so great we couldn’t bear to put much hope to this country and the people. Everything is turning gray and cold…

Yet, in the other hand…there are people like the light and salt of the world.…they walk the land, they lent their hand, they provide food to the poor and needy, they use their own hand to lift the heavy burden, they share their heart fearlessly – like the red heart beating unapologetic in this gray gray world. They work with no interest to be richer, to get recognition or bring more comfort to self, but it is the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ that is so overflowing in them – they leave “love marks” in peoples live.

I am very privilege to be able to experience these peoples and served along side with them. So, I dedicated these series of design for those served with love…”the joy of my life” for a good closure together.
